GEOGym is an AI visibility tracking platform that helps brands monitor how they appear in responses from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other AI tools. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Account information: your name and email address when you sign up.
- Brand data: the brand name, domain, competitors, and other details you enter to set up tracking.
- Usage data: which features you use, tracking runs you start, and general app activity. We use this to improve the product.
- Contact form submissions: your email address if you request a demo through our landing page.
How we use your data
- To provide and operate the GEOGym service.
- To run AI visibility tracking on your behalf.
- To send you transactional emails related to your account.
- To respond to demo requests and support inquiries.
- To improve and develop the product.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Third-party services
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate GEOGym:
- Clerk: handles authentication and account management. Your login credentials are stored and managed by Clerk, not GEOGym.
- Resend: used to send transactional emails such as demo request confirmations.
- DataForSEO and BrightData: used to run prompts through AI platforms on your behalf and retrieve results.
Data retention
Tracking results are stored for up to 90 days. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict how we process your data.
